Getting a Health Card
A health card is an important thing for all residents of Ontario to have because it’s what you show when you visit a doctor or hospital. Most of our health card is paid for by the government, and this piece of photo identification, which you receive at birth, is your way of receiving this care. If your card is lost, stolen, or broken, the you must report it immediately.
