COVID19 – all in-school programs paused – Big Bunch moved to a virtual format

Provides a safe forum where children in need can form meaningful, positive relationships through mentoring programs with caring adults. Programs include:

  • Big/Little Traditional Mentoring – match screened and trained adults, 18 years of age and older with children in need, 6-16 years of age
  • Big/Little Cross Gender Mentoring – cross gender matching of female volunteers to male children
  • Couples for Kids Program – put volunteers with a partner or spouse that are matched with a Little Brother or Little Sister. This is a great way for couples to give the gift of friendship to a child
  • In-School Mentoring (ISM) – one-to-one relationship to improve self-esteem and school interest for elementary school aged children who would benefit from the development of a supportive one-to-one relationship. Volunteers meet with a child one hour per week within the school setting for the duration of the school year
  • In-School Mentoring Co-op
  • Big Bunch Program – A group program for children in the agency, meeting once a week Wed 6 pm-7 pm

Applications are accepted from single and dual parent families. Volunteer training and support provided. Member agency of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC).
