Job search assistance: resumes, cover letters, interviewing, networking, coaching, and marketing to employers
Career and academic planning: assess goals and options, research all training programs, determine skill and personality fit, and assist skill development
Coaching and guidance: one-to-one and through small group workshops
Referral and access: to government funded training and employment programs for those who qualify – Better Jobs Ontario and other community programs to support goals including GED, OSSD completion, Literacy and Basic Skills, or Academic Upgrading
Apprentice program: employers committed to hiring and registering an apprentice scholarship candidate can be eligible to receive a $2,000 employer signing bonus. Candidates returning to school to complete their education in order to meet the requirements for a trade may be eligible for a $1,000 scholarship
Employer services: Post job advertisements, free candidate pre-screening, match employee – employer needs, development of job descriptions, training incentives may be available, employers committed to hiring and registering an apprentice may be eligible to receive a $2,000 employer signing bonus
