Volunteers assisting seniors in helping to alleviate the loneliness and improving their health and quality of their lives through the following services:
- Telephone reassurance – volunteers will make a regular phone call on weekday mornings to people living alone to ensure all is well
- Visiting – regular visits between a volunteer and client are provided for conversations, activities and companionship
- Lifeline – easy-to-use personal response service that lets you summon help any time of the day or night, even if you can’t speak.
Help is obtained quickly from a trained associate by pressing a button, worn on a wristband or pendant
