There is nothing healthy about smoking and exposing yourself and those around you to the harmful toxins from cigarettes. You probably don’t want to hear this, but there is no “easy” way to quit smoking. It might just be the hardest habit you’ll ever have to break, but it will be worth it.

Counselling and psychotherapy for grief, loss, bereavement, anxiety, depression, fears/phobias, stress management, achieving goals, smoking cessation, changing habits. Hypnotherapy, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), grief therapy, brief therapy, visualization, meditation and mindfulness may be used as part of the therapy process.

Free personal counselling service for smokers wanting to quit. Free nicotine replacement therapy (patch, gum, lozenge and inhaler) and oral spray is also available for eligible clinic clients when available

Free, confidential telephone service that provides health information for parents, students, school staff, health care professionals and the general public

A public health nurse is available to answer questions about: healthy eating, breastfeeding support, immunization, infectious diseases, parenting, pregnancy, quitting smoking, water and food safety, sexual health, and other information.

The Province has a Testing and Isolation Information Line that can be used for information regarding testing and access, confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases, self-isolation, or exposure to COVID-19 1-888-777-0730.
